Hockey has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. It has taken me across countries, cultures and different levels of the game — and each of those experiences has shaped the way I see hockey today.
As a junior, I had the opportunity to play in both the United States and Canada, experiencing the North American game firsthand. As a professional, my career took me through six different countries and professional leagues. Toward the end of my playing career, I had the honor of serving as captain of the Hungarian National Team and representing Hungary at the IIHF World Championship at the top level.
But playing the game was only one part of my education in hockey.
Coaching taught me to look at the game from a different perspective — beyond the result of a play and into the decisions, positioning, timing and details behind it. Video added another layer, giving me the opportunity to slow the game down and help players understand what is happening around them and why.
That experience is the foundation of BTI.
I don’t believe video analysis should simply point out mistakes or tell a player what they should have done. I want players to understand why a situation developed the way it did, what options were available to them, and how they can use that understanding the next time they step on the ice.
Every player is different. Different strengths. Different roles. Different goals. That’s why my approach is personal. We look at your game, identify the areas that can make the biggest difference, and turn those insights into clear focus points you can actually work on.
The goal is not to create a different player. It’s to help you get more out of the player you already are.

After my playing career, I continued in hockey through player development and coaching. I worked within the Hungarian Ice Hockey National Development Program, developing players from U13 through U18, before becoming Head Coach of the Hungarian U20 National Team.
I later took on a management role as General Manager within the Hungarian Ice Hockey Federation, adding another perspective to my understanding of player development and the game.
My coaching career then continued internationally, working in both France and Germany as a Head Coach and Assistant Coach.
These different roles — from individual player development to national teams, professional coaching and management — have shaped the way I work with players today and the way I approach video analysis through BTI.
